Aidan Keefe, 10, of Rockford practices scuba diving at the Belvidere Family YMCA on Sunday, March 8. It was the first diving experience for Keefe, who attended the YMCA's "Discover Scuba" event with his father Michael Keefe, who is an experienced diver. Dive professionals from Forest City Scuba were on hand to instruct and supervise divers of all skill levels at the event. The Belvidere Family YMCA has held diving events regularly for three years; the next Discover Scuba event is on Sunday, April 12th.
