Savannah Marie Peters, 16, (right) is crowned the 2010 Miss Boone County by outgoing queen Kristina Duran at the Boone County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Peters will be a junior at Belvidere North High School this fall and aspires to attend the University of Minnesota and major in Nutrition and Dietetics to become a licensed dietician.
