The Boone County Journal is a weekly newspaper that prints and distributes 10,500 copies per week. It's a free paper and approximately 95% are picked up at over 200 locations in Boone County, Northern Dekalb County and Western McHenry County in Northern Illinois. Also the Journal is home delivered to the gated community of Candlewick Lake.
