The Boone County Journal is a weekly newspaper that prints and distributes 10,000 copies per week. It's a free paper and approximately 90% are picked up at over 325 locations in Boone County, Northern Dekalb County and Western McHenry County in Northern Illinois. Also the Journal is home delivered to the gated community of Candlewick Lake.
